Hello! I’m Katie, a learning designer whose mission is to create interesting and immersive educational experiences.

My journey as a learning designer began as a passion project, in which I wanted to create affordable and high-quality English language lessons in a digital space. That’s when I founded and built PrepEng.com, a platform for free online self-study English courses.

I spent the first part of my career as an educator, working in public and private schools in the United States, Costa Rica, Spain and the UAE. I specialised in teaching English as a new language, but I also taught other subjects in the CLIL method.

When I’m not hard at work, I love to travel, read, play music, crochet and sew.
